The 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being knifed in Tollgate Road, near the A13, at around 5pm today.
Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The suspect is believed to have arrived in the road on a moped before the violent attack.
No arrests have been made but an investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police.
