Travel: Multi-vehicle accident on A127 Southend Arterial Road

Part of the A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound near West Horndon was blocked because of a multi-vehicle accident.

The stretch from the Halfway House roundabout to J29 for Romford has now re-opened after being closed for just over an hour.

The accident occurred around 4.45pm this afternoon.

It caused lengthy queues through rush hour.
