The Liberty Shopping Centre have launched a ‘People’s choice award’ for 2019
As part of the centre’s festive decorations, entrants have created designs to be placed on a giant bauble near the shopping mall’s Christmas tree, with the winner being selected by The Mayor of Havering.
Additionally, this year the public are able to vote from the top 10 selected designs as part of the ‘People’s Choice Award.’
The winning design will be placed on a giant star, which will also be included as part of the shopping centre’s decorations.
The winner of the ‘People’s Choice Award’ will be invited with a group from their school to view the Star and celebrate by singing Christmas carols.
They will also receive a £100 cheque for their school.
Centre Manager at The Liberty, Jonathan Poole, said: “The creativity from children in the Deck The Malls competition is always extraordinary, especially with the added star competition this year.
“The event marks the start of Christmas here at The Liberty and we can’t wait to see the winning designs in the centre over the festive period.”
Voting will close at midnight on Sunday 8th December.
