Officers, including firearms officers, attended to the incident
Police were called at 10.36pm last night, to reports of a male suffering from a gunshot injury on St James Street.
An 18-year-old man was found injured. He now remains in a stable condition in hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A boy, believed to be aged 17, was also found nearby suffering from stab wounds and a gunshot injury. He was taken to an east London hospital by the LAS where he remains in critical condition.
Crime scenes remain in place.
Trident detectives from Specialist Crime have been informed.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
