Appeal after man allegedly assaults staff and smashes window at Barking station phone shop

Do you recognise this man?

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to following an incident at Barking train station.

A man was reported to have ripped CCTV cameras from the phone shop at the station.

It is alleged he then tackled a member of staff and smashed the shop’s front window.

More than a thousand pounds worth of damage is reported to have been caused in the incident, which happened between 9.40-10.20am on Thursday, 6 February.

Anyone who recognises the man in the picture aboce is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting the reference number 157 of 06/02/20.
