Three Thurrock men charged over toilet roll and hand sanitiser burglary

Three men from Thurrock have been charged in connection with a burglary in which a large quantity of hand sanitiser and dozens of packs of toilet roll were stolen.

A petrol generator, laptop, and microwave were also allegedly taken during the incident in on the evening of Friday, 20 March.

The items were taken from a building site in Bury Lane, Hatfield Peverel.

The three men who have been charged with burglary are:

Johnnie Scamp, 29, of Love Lane, Aveley.
Thomas Simmonds, 37, of Broxburn Drive, South Ockendon.
James Scamp, 41, of Comet Close, Purfleet.

They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
