A range of activities including storytelling, arts and craft, top tips, fitness regimes and baking lessons will be available every week for viewers.
Local schoolgirl, Tiana, 6, from Romford, is hosting for the shopping centre to keep people entertained virtually and appears in a number of the social media videos.
Tiana wants to use her videos to “bring the local community together.”
The activities are an alternative to the creative workshops usually held over school holidays within the centre’s main square, as well as a monthly Kids Club.
Centre Manager at The Liberty, Jonathan Poole, said: “It is a strange time for not only Romford but for the whole of the world which is why we wanted to come up with a way of creating a sense of normality and fun for local families.
“We hope Tiana’s videos help parents with ideas and keep their little ones occupied for a while during lockdown.”
Tiana’s videos can be found on The Liberty’s Facebook page (@LibertyRomford).
NHS rainbows can be created and sent to their social media channels for the chance to be shared.
