Muhammed Samir Uddin was stabbed to death on Friday

A man has been charged with the murder of a teenager at Crossharbour DLR station.

Hamza Hoque, 21, of Manchester Road, the Isle of Dogs, is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today accused of murdering Muhammed Samir Uddin and the attempted murder of another teenager.

Muhammed, 19, was pronounced dead after the attack on Friday evening.

A second man, aged 18, was also injured. He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Detectives from British Transport Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information, to get in touch with them by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 424 of 10/07/20.
