Woman taken to hospital after car overturns in Collier Row

A woman has escaped with minor injuries after the car she was driving crashed and overturned in Collier Row.

The collision happened in Collier Row Road, at the junction with Prospect Place, at around 10.10am this morning.

The road has been closed by police, with officers, paramedics, firefighters, and an air ambulance all in attendance.

Police say a woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital.

“Her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening,” a spokesperson said.

The London Fire Brigade Tweeted to encouraged people to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.
