Appeal after stabbing at West Ham Underground station

The incident happened on Saturday evening

Police are appealing for witnesses after a stabbing at West Ham Underground station.

Two 17-year-olds remain in hospital following an altercation that escalated at about 6.50pm on Saturday evening.

One male collapsed at the station with stab injuries.

The other man, who also received stab wounds, got on a train and was later found at Abbey Road DLR Station.

Both teenagers are believed to be in a stable condition.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Detective Sergeant, Oliver Carne said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information should contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 – quoting reference 420 of 5/09/2020.

“Alternatively, callers can phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
