The incident happened yesterday evening
At least seven police vehicles rushed to the station shortly after 6.30pm yesterday, with officers from British Transport Police and the Met in attendance.
A police helicopter was also called out to search for the suspect, who it is believed had made his way onto the tracks in an attempt to escape.

Officers congregated on platform six, near to the signal box.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “A thorough search of the station and the wider area was carried out. However, no trace of the suspect was found, and no further reports were received.”
A local police Twitter account confirmed no one was injured in the incident.
