Woman in her 60s dies after falling from height in Romford

A woman, aged in her 60s, has died after falling from “a substantial height” in Romford.

Emergency services were called to Brewery Walk at 9.45am this morning (Monday, 20 September) after receiving reports of a concern for safety.

Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.

They found a woman had fallen from a “substantial height.”

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Exchange Street and Havana Close were both closed off.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At this early stage the death is being treated as unexplained and is not thought to be suspicious.”
