Man rushed to hospital after collision in Barking

A man has been taken to hospital following a collision in Barking.

The pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle in Longbridge Road shortly before 8am this morning. 

We are waiting for an update on his condition. 

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7.53am today (25 January) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

“We sent an ambulance crew, who treated a man at the scene and took him to a hospital as a priority.”

Longbridge Road is still closed between Upney Lane and Ventnor Gardens.
