Man’s body recovered from park in Leytonstone

A man was pronounced dead near Hollow Ponds this morning (Credit: Marathon)

Police have recovered a body from a park in Leytonstone. 

Officers found an unresponsive man near Hollow Ponds, by Snaresbrook Road, at 8.30am today. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the London Ambulance Service. 

Detectives are treating his death as unexplained and working to inform his next of kin. 

A forensic crime scene remains in place at the park.
