A car collided with a person in Mawney Road, at the junction with the A12, at around 6.05am on Monday, 26 September.
The London Ambulance Service took the pedestrian to hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.
Police closed the road while emergency services deal with the incident. It was reopened at around 9am.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers were called at 06:05hrs on Monday, 26 September to Mawney Road at junction with A12, Romford.
“A car was reported to have been in collision with a pedestrian.
“Officers and LAS attended the scene.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital, their condition awaits.
