Witnesses are being urged to come forward
The woman, who was in her 80s, was driving one of the two cars involved in the collision on the A414 Epping Road at around 5pm on Wednesday, 2 November.
Detectives say she died at the scene.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would ask anyone who has dashcam footage or any other information to please get in contact with us,” said a spokesperson for Essex Police. “Please quote 0932 of 2 November.
