Arrest made after teenager stabbed in leg at Barking Train Station

A teenager has been arrested after a stabbing at Barking Train Station.

The victim, who was also a teenager, suffered non-life threatening injuries after being knifed in the leg yesterday evening.

Officers from the Barking Town Centre Team chased the suspect on foot and recovered a discarded weapon.

Police say enquiries are continuing.

Yesterday evening at Barking Train Station a juvenile was stabbed in the leg.

Barking Town Centre Team gave chase on foot & arrested another juvenile suspect & recovered a discarded weapon.

Thankfully the injuries are non life threatening.
