Police were called to Gallows Corner at 3.50pm on Friday, 13 January after reports of two men fighting with knives.
A man was taken to hospital with slash wounds where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
The 23-year-old continues to receive treatment – he’s also been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Footage of the incident unfolding rapidly circulated on social media.
Police say enquiries are ongoing to locate the second man involved.
