The pedestrian, in his 80s, died at the scene after the crash involving a Smart car in Poplar Row, at around 10.15pm on Sunday, 12 March.
A 20-year-old man, who was driving the vehicle, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
