The High Road was closed after the collision happened around 4.15pm yesterday (Sunday, 16 April) near the Wake Arms Roundabout.
It’s believed that the motorcycle was travelling from the Robin Hood roundabout towards the Wake Arms roundabout at the time of the collision.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area until further notice.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
