A man aged in his 20s, who was riding the moped, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
He remained in hospital for a week but sadly died on Monday, 3 July.
His next of kin have been informed.
There were no reports of any other injuries as a result of the collision.
Officers investigating say they’re keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to, including any road users who may have captured the collision on dashcam.

The Met Police says “as is routine in these circumstances, the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed. A referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) and it has launched an independent investigation.”
A man has been charged and appeared in court with offences relating to this collision.
