The collision happened at around 3.30am on Sunday, 23 July outside Bloc 40, in High Street.
A car, believed to be a Ford Puma, was driven at a man outside the venue, before making off towards the M25 turnoff.
The pedestrian suffered non life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
In a statement, Essex Police said: “We believe there were been a number of witnesses in the area at the time who can assist us with our enquiries.
