A second man has been charged after a shooting in Walthamstow which left a man seriously injured.
Officers were called to reports of a firearms discharge in Blackhorse Lane at around 10.45pm on Saturday, 17 June, where a 22-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition. His injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening and was discharged.
Anthony Diamond Brown, 22, of no fixed address was charged on Friday, 15 September, with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 16 September.
Previously, Desharn Felix, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life and possession of cannabis.
He appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 7 July. He will next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday, 22 January 2024.
