Police were called at 2.20pm on Tuesday, 17 October to the incident involving a car and a pedestrian in Prince Regent Lane.
A 15-year-old boy was found and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
His next of kin are aware.
The driver of the car didn’t stop at the scene. The car is believed to be a white Toyota Prius which officers say they’re working to trace.
The Met Police says “enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
