Man dies after falling from multi-storey car park in Romford

A man’s died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Romford.

Emergency services were called to Angel Way Car Park, in Angel Way just before 11am on Saturday,11 November, following reports of a person having fallen from height.

Work is underway to identify the man, aged in his 40s, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a statement, the Met Police said: “Officers are working to confirm the man’s identity and inform his next of kin.

“The death is being treated as unexpected, though initial enquiries do not indicate it is suspicious.

“A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
