Harry said: “I was honoured to represent our Trust and was so proud to be there. I never expected I would ever meet the King when starting my nursing career here in London.
“I thanked him for the opportunity and he said thank you to me for working for the NHS.”
Harry met His Majesty, as well as Dame Ruth May, Chief Nursing Officer of England, at the event.
Chief Nurse Kathryn Halford, said: “Harry has made such a positive impact to nursing here at our Trust and deserved to celebrate the contribution of international nurses and midwives at the birthday reception for King Charles III.”
