Havering Small Business Awards 2024
The deadline for businesses to submit their entry closes at 5pm on Friday, 3 May.
This year, the awards format has changed to help encourage even more businesses from across the whole borough to enter, with the first round of nominations open for businesses to nominate themselves.
Now in their third year – this year’s awards main sponsor is Havering’s 12 Estates Regeneration Joint Venture Partner, Wates, and media sponsor is TIME 107.5 FM.
When a Havering Business enters, they’ll be asked to explain and evidence why they should be shortlisted for that award.
If a business is successfully shortlisted, a cross check will be done with council teams including business rates, public protection and environmental enforcement, to make sure that they qualify for the next and final voting round.
Then, it will be over to the public to vote on who they think is best!
The three businesses with the highest number of individual public votes from the second round will then be invited to an awards evening in September 2024.

Best Beauty or Service Business, sponsored by The Havering Daily
Best Take Away, sponsored by The Havering Daily
Best Hospitality Business, sponsored by Hills Prospect
Best Tradesperson , sponsored by Essex Services Group
Best Customer Experience, sponsored by Oakleafe Claims
Best Shopfront, sponsored by K&T Heating
Best Social Enterprise or CIC, sponsored by Jax Sun Services
Best Newcomer (less than a year old – operating since June 2023) , supported by Havering Chamber of Commerce and Industry
New for this year – Best Sustainable Business, sponsored by Havering Works, supported by HM Government, Mayor of London and Levelling Up Funding.
