Two people have been treated by paramedics after a fire in Plaistow.
A man and woman suffered smoke inhalation after the blaze in Stratford Road.
Two more adults and six children left neighbouring flats before the arrival of the London Fire Brigade.
A third floor flat was damaged in the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
