I now present two shows per week. Thursday from 10pm-midnight and since November 2018 Monday evening from 8pm-10pm. Apart from playing 2 hours of great music, I give clues to the identity of ‘Song for Whoever’ – a song with either a boy’s or girl’s name or names in the title or in the lyrics? Plus in the second hour you can try to solve ‘The Monday Mindbender’.
Born in London and first lived in Gants Hill. I Moved to Cranleigh in Surrey, followed by Barkingside. My family eventually settled near Brentwood in Essex. In the 80s at the age of 14, I joined Hospital Radio Chelmsford. Firstly making the tea as I was too young to go on air!
I’ve always had a love of radio and am delighted to now be a presenter on Time 107.5. I used to go to Romford as a child as my father had a kiosk selling sweets.
I have interviewed a few celebrities over the years including Roy Castle, lead singer of Mud – Les Gray and West Ham Legend Trevor Brooking.
I also sit in for my fellow presenters and cover their shows at the weekend including Karen Lennon, Dean Kayne and Steve Dean. I often sit in for Mark Dover on Bank holidays. Recently on Good Friday, Easter Monday and May Day.
