Rainham man charged with murdering 21-year-old in Pitsea

A man from Rainham has been charged with murdering a 21-year-old man in Pitsea. 

Dwayne Forrester was found injured in Little Garth on 7 July 2018. He later died. 

Detectives took 400 statements, seized 820 exhibits and viewed more than 180 hours of CCTV footage as part of their investigation into the incident. 

Today, 24-year-old Hayden Line, of Esmond Close, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court charged with murder. 

He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday, 11 January.
