All funds raised from the event will go towards improving children’s play areas at the hospitals, making them exciting places for kids to enjoy. It will also help pay for a children’s Christmas party on Saturday, 10 December.
The ball will feature a three-course meal, wine table, DJ and “spectacular” entertainment. This year’s theme is MARVEL-lous Superheroes, dedicated to all frontline staff who worked throughout the pandemic.
“We need support now more than ever from our local community to join us at our upcoming event,” said head of fundraising, Lynda Head.
“Funds raised will be going to our children’s areas because children in hospital deserve a fun place to play.
“Our children’s play areas are in need of refurbishment, after they had to be used for essential storage during the pandemic.”
The charity has not been able to hold the event since 2019 because of the pandemic.
Lynda explained it is an “excellent way to celebrate a work Christmas party” or to have a night out with friends and family.
The ball starts at 6.30pm on Friday, 18 November.
