Man charged with murder following disappearance of woman in Canning Town

A man’s been charged with murder following the disappearance of a woman in Canning Town.

Aminan Rahman, 45, is accused of killing Suma Begum, after she went missing from a property in Orchard Place on Sunday, 30 April.

The Met Police say enquiries to locate the 24-year-old are continuing as she’s not yet been found.

Rahman and Suma were known to each other.

He’s appearing in court today (Thursday, 4 May).
