Officers were called at 12.53pm yesterday (Tuesday, 20 February) after witnesses reported seeing a man with a knife injury to the back in the car park.
The victim, aged 23, had left the scene and was found by officers at hospital. His condition is not yet known.
The shopping centre was evacuated with some residents reportedly seeing blood on the floor.
In a statement, Havering Police said: “It appears to be an isolated incident with the victim and suspect being known to each other.
“Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.
“Officers from our Town Centre team remain in the area and will continue to provide reassurance.”
