A 28-year-old man was stabbed in the back and neck in the attack yesterday afternoon.
The victim was rushed to hospital and his condition is understood to be not life-threatening.
Police are now hunting for his attacker, who’s described as Asian, in his 20s, and he was wearing a long green jacket.
It’s understood he used a knife with a brown handle and a silver, eight-inch blade and ran off in the direction of Perth Road.
Investigators want to hear from anyone who witnessed the stabbing or saw the suspect either before of after the attack.
