Barking Abbey secure basketball double

Barking Abbey’s men and women’s teams secured both the Elite Academy Basketball League and Women’s Elite Academy Basketball League titles.

The women’s team picked up a 67-60 win over Charnwood College to secure their championship, while the men’s team made it back-to-back titles with a 96-83 victory over Myerscough.

Both games took place in Leicester earlier today.

The EABL and WEABL are junior basketball competitions featuring the top Under-19 programmes in the country.
