A family in Collier Row have created an extravagant Halloween display in their front garden to raise money for charity.

Phil and Karen Buckley decorate their house on White Hart Lane annually for the community to enjoy.

This years display has taken 2 to 3 weeks to put together and features animatronics, 5ft skeletons breaking out of the ground, a 10ft ghost – among other spooky items on display.

Each year, the family choose a local charity to support. This years charity is the Autism and Learning Difficulties Charity, Sycamore Trust.

Phil said: “We decorate the house every year to raise money for different charities and raise awareness for charities that are close to our own family.

“This year we’ve decided to go for the Sycamore Trust because our daughter Zoe and son Zachary, have both recently been diagnosed with autism. It’s just to raise awareness but also to show our support back for the help that they’ve given us.

“Usually we’d have anywhere between 500 to 700 visitors depending on the weather.

“As I say, it’s for Sycamore Trust this year. There’s a donation box at our address and a Just Giving Page.”

Anyone who’d like to donate to them online, can do so via their Just Giving page.
