The single vehicle crash, involving a Silver Mercedes B200, happened at 2.50pm in Aveley Road this afternoon (Monday, 20 January) leaving one person seriously injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Officers are specifically appealing to the driver of a black Vauxhall Corsa, which was travelling towards Grays, to get in touch as it’s believed they may have vital information.
The road is currently closed in both directions between Warwick Lane and Usk Road while investigations continue today.
