Long delays on A13 in Barking after collision

The A13 in Barking faced long delays this morning after an accident involving a car and a lorry.

Queues built up after the accident occurred on Lodge Avenue Junction.

The flyover was closed both ways to attend to the incident, however, it’s now re-opened.

Queues were heading back to Marsh Way Interchange westbound and back to Beckton Flyover eastbound, with traffic tailing back on the North Circular to the Ilford flyover. 

The accident also affected the A123.

Police have said it was damage only and no one was injured.
