Onyenachi Obasi passed away last week.
Onyenachi Obasi, 51, passed away on Wednesday, 6 May in Queen’s Hospital.
She worked as a healthcare visitor. Additionally, she worked weekend’s for the Trust for many years across several of the wards.
A fundraiser has been set up to help with her funeral and to support her 19-year-old son, who she leaves behind.
Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nurse, Kathryn Halford said: “She was a popular, and much-loved nurse and our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and colleagues at such a difficult time.
“I have no doubt she will be greatly missed.
