Emergency services were called to the clockwise carriageway near junction 26 yesterday (Wednesday, 30 October) at around 1.30pm.
A 30-year-old man, who was riding the motorbike, died at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services worked to investigate and make the area safe.
Police are now appealing to hear from anyone who has information or dashcam footage.
