Motorcyclist fighting for his life following serious collision in Loughton

A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision in Loughton.

Police were called to Epping New Road, near the junction with Rangers Road, just after 1.45pm yesterday (Monday, 31 March) where a car and motorbike collided.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital.

The road was closed between Robin Hood roundabout and Rangers Road while investigations were carried out.

Officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.

In a statement, Essex Police said: “If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us as soon as possible.

“Please quote incident 588 of 31 March.
