Police were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a silver BMW on Rangers Road shortly after 11.05am on Sunday, 16 May.
The pedestrian – a man in his twenties – was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died three days later.
No one has been arrested in connection with the collision so far but police are continuing to carry out enquiries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the crash, or the moments before it, to contact them.
