A man in his 20s remains in hospital following Saturday’s stabbing
The victim suffered multiple injuries following the attack on Maud Road on Saturday (6 March).
Police were called to reports of the stabbing at 23.39hrs and attended the scene along with the London Ambulance service.
The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to an East London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Detective Constable Zoe Banks is investigating the case.
She said, “This was a brutal and vicious attack which has left the victim with a long road to recovery.
“We are committed to finding those responsible and holding them accountable for their actions that night.”
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw a dark-blue saloon car in the area on Saturday evening and believe members of the public with dash cam footage or home security cameras might be able to help.
So far, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
