Born in London, then Gants Hill. Moved to Cranleigh in Surrey, followed by Barkingside. My family eventually settled near Brentwood in Essex. In the 80s at the age of 14, I joined Hospital Radio Chelmsford. Firstly making the tea as I was too young to go on air!
I’ve always had a love of radio and am delighted to now be a presenter on Time 107.5. I used to go to Romford as a child as my father had a kiosk selling sweets.
I now present my own show on Monday evening from 8pm-10pm. Apart from playing 2 hours of great music, I give clues to the identity of ‘Song for Whoever’ – a song with either a boy’s or girl’s name in the title or in the lyrics? Plus in the second hour I will test your music knowledge again with ‘The One that got away’.
I have interviewed a few well known people over the years including Roy Castle, former lead singer of Mud Les Gray, West Ham football legend Trevor Brooking and Simon Burns MP.
