Three vehicles were involved in the crash at around 10.20pm on Monday, 15 July.
Sadly, three people were pronounced dead at the scene.
One other male passenger was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.
Crews from Wennington, Barking and East Ham fire stations attended the scene.
The road was closed between the M25 (J30) and Rainham, Ferry Lane for several hours whilst emergency services were at the scene.
